Our Story

Christos Kotsovos, born in Peloponnese, Greece, came to America in 1973, in hopes of pursuing the American dream. After training for many years to become a master furrier and designer in the exclusive New York fashion district, he quickly rose to success as the leader of a manufacturing business. Soon thereafter, Christos purchased a retail store in Roselawn, but he quickly outgrew it, so in 1989, he custom built Kotsovos in Montgomery, and incorporated his passion for designer formalwear and bridal wear. In 1995, Victoria Kotsovos came to America from London, and later married Christos, joining the family business.
Striving to establish a unique and stress-free experience for all our customers, Christos created an environment that enables every client to receive individualized service; whether they are shopping for a bridal gown, prom dress, mother of the bride gown, or outerwear garment. Our bridal department is centered on delivering an intimate experience for the bride-to-be and her loved ones, for this once in a lifetime event. For our prom girls, we offer the latest trends in designer gowns, and it is our promise that no two girls, attending an event, purchase the same gown in our store. In curating this personalized experience, each member of our staff has been extensively trained in both personal styling and exceptional customer care. Furthermore, our store houses highly specialized bridal and formalwear seamstresses, as well as two master furriers, ensuring that each client will obtain the perfect fit, every time. For those seeking a more personalized fur, Christos and George, our other master furrier, expertly designs custom garments, and can remodel pieces that have sentimental value.
